Dmitri Peskov is the Chair of the Snow College Dance Department. His performance credits include St Paul Ballet, Chicago Ballet, Chicago Festival Ballet, Paul Sanasardo Dance Company, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Bluebird Theatre andsolo work. Recently he presented new choreographic and screen media works at Dance Now Festival, Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, Midwest RAD Fest, Regalia Competition produced by the Repertory Dance,Our Stories Dance Festival, Event/Horizons 2021, Dance for Screen Alabama and All That Dance Film Festival in Seoul, Korea. He is the finalist for both MyPrize Poetry Award 2021 and the 2021 Annensky Poetry Prize in Moscow, Russia. 
 
Dmitri’s teaching style is informed by his experiences as a Mesiner/Lecoq trained actor, a yoga/pilates instructor, a medical qigong therapist, a Thai massage practitioner and a 3rd degree black belt in Kajukenbo as well as his ongoing practices of aikido, iaido, wing chung and hapkido.
